PISA (Programme for International Student Asssessment)
Results as found by the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development)
The following charts show the OECD European countries scoring above average on the 2006 PISA exam for 15-year olds. The first column shows the name of the country and its rank by second column data. The second column shows the combined percentages of students scoring in the highest performance levels; the second column shows the country’s rank (fewest low-performers as higher rank) according to the fourth and final column which shows the combined percentages of students scoring at level 1 or below. My intent is to visit schools located in as many of the highlighted countries as feasibly possible. Non-highlighted countries are alternate locations.
