Having a draft itinerary makes it easier to confirm dates in schools. Unless otherwise stated, all our travel is by train. I will be updating this as we get more confirmations of school appointments and housing. We will be staying at homestays as they become available, and where not available, we will be in youth hostels.

October 16-18: Købnhavn-Tivoli Gardens Autumn Festival (youth hostel)
October 19: Arrive Østerskov Efterskol
October 20-24: Board Games unit, meet parents, visit local elementaries (confirmed)
October 27-31: Middle Ages Unit (confirmed)
November 3-7: US Elections Unit (taught by me), visit local elementaries (confirmed)
November 8: pack up & say goodbye
November 9-11 Denmark Elementaries (confirmed + homestay)
November 12-17 Finland (Vantaa school-confirmed)(Espoo school-confirmed)(youth hostel in Helsinki)
November 18-22 Estonia (confirmation in process)
November 22-23 (Gaestehaus/visit & interview a family in Rostock)
November 23-26 Hamburg, Germany (middle school-confirmed)(youth hostel)

January 23-Feb 3: travel through Romania/Croatia/Northern Italy

February 3-5: (new date): France, school visits in Vaucluse area (school visits canceled, unfortunately)

February 6-12: (new date): return to Denmark, visit with teachers and students from Østerskov Efterskole

February 12: (new date): fly home

January 29-Feb 3: (new date): Perugia & Rome, Italy (homestay with friends of a friend)
February 3-11: (possibly, depending on current political situation): Israel (school visits in Zichron, West Bank)(confirmed homestays: Jerusalem, Tel Aviv) -OR- possible school visits in northern Italy
February 1-6: Romania (youth hostels)
February 7-8: Hungary & Austria (hostel/train)
February 9-11: (tentative: may be canceled if traveling to Israel) Hessen, Germany (confirmed)(youth hostel) -OR- if no extension possible, travel to Copenhagen and fly home.
